Brandon Cochran (aka “Sourdough Brandon”) is the founder of
SourdoughBrandon.com,
where he shares detailed recipes, baking guides, and practical tips for
home bakers making sourdough bread, sourdough discard recipes, and
other naturally leavened baked goods. Raised in the foothills of the
Appalachians in North Carolina and shaped by Southern hospitality, Brandon graduated from New York University and Boston College before settling in a small town in Western Massachusetts.
In addition to running a website that reaches hundreds of thousands of readers around the world each month, Brandon
teaches in-person sourdough workshops across Massachusetts, where he
has helped thousands of attendees learn the fundamentals of baking with
sourdough starter.
