About me
Sarah Magid is the founder of Knead Love Bakery, an artisanal gluten-free bakery in Brooklyn, NYC. She launched Knead Love in 2018 following a 15-year career as a jewelry and accessories designer, during which she pursued a custom cake business creating ornate wedding cakes inspired by jewelry design. She is also the author of a
cookbook, Organic and Chic (HarperCollins).
Knead Love Bakery developed from a personal health shift and focus on nutrient-dense ingredients. Sarah set out to create what she couldn't find in the marketplace: hand-milled and naturally fermented breads, delicious seasonal baked goods, and products sourced from the region. These values align with the bakery's membership in GrowNYC, and Knead Love appears at six Greenmarkets across NYC each week. Her breads and baked goods are also available at specialty retail locations in NYC, as well as for shipping nationwide.
