After a distinguished 20-year career in state and federal advocacy and public policy, Vanessa decided to pursue her entrepreneurial dream of starting her own business to promote her beloved home State of Maine, and the destinations, inns, restaurants, artisans, and experiences that make it so special.
As the Founder of Your Maine Concierge, (Maine’s first and premiere statewide, personalized concierge & travel itinerary planning service for lodging, dining, and activities), Vanessa creates more memorable experiences for visitors and Mainers alike by customizing itineraries to each client’s specific interests, and overall travel goals. Vanessa’s partnerships and personal relationships with the diverse and talented leaders in Maine’s tourism and hospitality industry give her clients rare, exclusive, and unique opportunities that enhance their visits.
In addition to providing these curated services, Vanessa is the former Business Manager of The Maine Cabin Masters; a Producer and Co-Host on the 13-time New England Emmy Award-Nominated Television Show MaineLife; Creator, Former Producer, and Co-Host of the MaineLife Spin-Off Show Maine Food Story, and is the Creator and Host of an innovative series of private chef and hospitality dinners, and other exciting culinary events that are open to the public, and that take place at the finest restaurants, inns, and travel destinations all across Maine.
